What can I expect from my first personal training session?

Your first session will focus on understanding your goals, fitness level, and lifestyle. We’ll also go through some basic exercises so I can see how you move and design a programme that’s right for you.

How many times a week should I be training?

It depends on your goals, lifestyle, and availability. Some clients train with me once a week, others more. I’ll help you find a routine that fits into your schedule and keeps you moving forward.

Can you help me with nutrition as well as training?

Yes. I provide guidance on calories and macronutrients (protein, carbs, fats) to support your goals, whether that’s weight loss, building muscle, or improving performance.

What should I wear to a sports massage session?

Wear something comfortable. Depending on the area being worked on, you may need to expose certain muscles (e.g., shorts for legs). I’ll always make sure you’re comfortable and covered appropriately.

Do you offer couples or group training?

Yes. I offer small group sessions for friends or family who want to train together, which can make sessions fun, supportive, and more affordable.

How long are sports massage sessions?

Sessions typically last between 30–60 minutes, depending on your needs and the areas we’re focusing on.

What’s the difference between personal training and online coaching?

Personal training gives you in-person support and real-time feedback, while online coaching is fully remote both include structured plans, progress tracking, and weekly check-ins. Both provide accountability and tailored guidance.

Do I need to be fit or in shape before I start?

Not at all! I work with people of all fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced athletes. My role is to guide you at your pace and help you progress safely.

What if I have an injury or medical condition?

I always adapt training to your individual needs. If you have an injury or condition, we’ll work around it safely, and I can also use sports massage techniques to support your recovery.

Do I need a gym membership to train with you?

If you’re looking for online coaching, then a membership isn’t required but it is advised if you want the best results possible. If you’re looking for in person training, you will need a Pure Gym Thurrock membership, which is where I’m based!

How soon will I see results from training?

This varies for each person, but with consistency and effort, most clients start noticing changes in their energy, strength, and confidence within the first few weeks.

How long are personal training sessions?

Each session usually lasts around 1 hour, giving us enough time to warm up, train effectively, and finish with some cool-down or mobility work.

How do I pay for sessions?

You can pay per session or purchase blocks of sessions. Block bookings often work out more cost-effective and help with consistency.
