ABOUT THE COACH
Growing up, fitness has been a massive influence on my life. I played football from a young age and, as I got older, I wanted to get into the gym to improve my game, build strength, and increase my size. Being one of the smaller, skinnier people throughout my life was tough, and not being happy with the way I looked pushed me towards training. Like many others, when I first started, I lacked both knowledge and motivation. But once I began to see progress from following a consistent, steady programme, it all became far more enjoyable. I started to look forward to my sessions, push for more results, and set new targets to work towards.

Over time, I became much more comfortable and happier with myself and now that’s something I want to help others achieve. I want people to reach their own goals, while also improving their mental and physical wellbeing.
After finishing school, I knew fitness was the career path I wanted to pursue. At college, I gained qualifications in personal training, sports massage, sports & exercise science, and community coaching. Each of these plays a different role in the way I work today.

Personal training is, of course, what I do daily, but it’s the other qualifications that really set me apart. Being able to provide sports massage is a huge benefit to clients—not only improving mobility, posture, and recovery, but also supporting mental health. My sports & exercise science qualification is something I draw on constantly, with a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics helping me design smarter programmes and tailor training to each client. The body is complex, and there’s always new research emerging, but my studies gave me the knowledge and confidence to apply science directly to training in a practical way.

Finally, my community coaching qualification gives me the ability to train people across all levels—from those who want to get stronger, healthier, and more confident, to athletes aiming to improve their speed, agility, and power. It bridges the gap between personal training and sports science, adding extra depth to my coaching and pushing me further towards my long-term goal of completing a degree in sports & exercise science.
